Do any of the dividers open between cove balconies?

They can be opened between some of the rooms. However, all of the cove balcony doors have a metal door that can be closed and seal off the balcony in case of rough seas. Sometimes these doors will be in the way if the two adjoining rooms have the doors side by side. This was the case when we stayed in the coves on the Dream.

What size are the cove balconies?

Basically they are the same size as a regular balcony but because the hall slants, you have more foot space. If that makes sense. We love coves. Have had them 3x on the Breeze.

the coves are really great. You have more leg room (45 sq ft) than a standard balcony (35 sq ft). To find out which cabins have connecting dividers that can be opened, Google "Carnival [name of ship] goccl" click to open the document. Then click Cabin Descriptions, then Deck 2. Find your cabins in the list--lots of other good info on those document pages as well. We've been in Carnival Magic 2260 on two different cruises and loved it.

Also, if you have connecting cabins, they for sure cannot open the balcomy dividers. That is per John Heald.
