Question about the parking at Port Canaveral

It is very close. You pull up in one area drop off luggage and then go around and into the parking lot. It is right across the street. Nice and close :)

We went out of Fll in May, that parking was horrendous! Far from the terminal. Such a big port. Port Canaveral is just right!

Sorry didn't answer the whole question you just walk across the street. And when I saw street, it's not a busy highway street, the only cars coming on that street are cars going to drop off luggage and go into the parking lot. Only RCI passengers. :)

Hi Karen -

The parking garage (if you're heading out on the Mariner/Sovereign/Grandeur) is a quick sidewalk and walkway across from the Cruise Terminal. There are usually folks there to help stop traffic to ensure you cross safely.

I've found that Port Canaveral has been one of the easiest experiences for luggage drop off/parking/walking to the terminal.

The typical procedure at Port Canaveral (for us) has been to drop off our luggage with the Stevedores, U-turn around, and head into the parking lot area. Depending on the time of day, there might be a slight wait, but we've usually waited less than 15 minutes. Even parked on the 4th floor of the parking structure, it's taken us approximately 5 minutes to take an elevator down and walk to the Terminal 9/10 building. Mind you, I'm not a power walker, and we usually wait for the elevator... :-)

Cheers!

When do they let you disembark?

As soon as the Ship clears customs they start letting people disembark. Probably around 8-8:30. Our last trip on Sov. Of Seas we were next to last color to get off and were off by 10:30 am. If their is a delay with customs that will slow the Ship down.
