missygirl Posted July 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2015 I would love any feedback on swimming with the stringrays on HMC...pros or cons. Also my daughter in law was injured recently and still a little shakey... she is a real trooper and this is a bucket list item do you stand in the water or a platform? cb at sea Posted August 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2015 I believe you stand in the water, so you can feed them. They stay close to the bottom, you know.
Cruisetrekker Posted August 8, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 8, 2015 You stand in the water and the guide is in the water bringing up the various colours of stingrays, sea cucumbers and sea stars . . He will pass around the stars and cucumbers for everyone to touch . you will be given squid to hold and to feed the stingrays . Lifejackets , fins and snorkel gear is supplied . Only disappointment was that none of the HAL photographers showed up to take pictures for our group.
