Slot Player Card in Mariner's Casino?

driver2

Recommended Posts

Was on Carnival Glory last month and was able to use my Sign & Sail caard in the casino slots. The card was used for everything on the ship including keeping track of any balance you might have on the slots. Does anyone know if they have this feature on Mariner of the Seas? Leaving on the Mariner Sunday 9/25. Thx, driver2

Help, How do I turn the Clock off from my last Cruise???

Nope, can't use your seapass cards on the slots. Must have cash. Unless things have changed since I sailed on her in May 04.

Go into the User CP menu up at the top, then Edit Signature and delete the link for your clock.

By the way, DH and I are on this Sunday's sailing as well. Can't wait!!! We have a roll call thread going. I don't recall seeing you on there. Come say hi!

Peggy-

I was on the Mariner back last October and had a great time. Met a wonderful bartender that I have kept in touch with. I see that you are going on board Sunday and I was wondering if you could do me a favor if you happened to run into him? :-) His name is Andrew McFarlane and he usually works in the Dragons Lair....but one of the last groups that went on said he was in the piano bar. If you happen to run into him could you tell him that Kerri is waiting for him to call to help him do some shopping for his upcoming wedding. He is getting married in Jamaica in December. He tried to get me this past Sunday while he was in port Canaveral and I was out so he had to leave a message. I couldn't get back with him. He is a wonderful person and i'm sure he'll give ya a drink on the house if you find him and pass along the message. I do hope you have a blast on the ship! I'm headed out on the Sovereign in 52 days and can't wait.....but I miss the Mariner....what a ship!

Thank you for your time.

kerri, are you leaving on the nov 11th cruise, we are. This is our first cruise, and looking forward to it. Saving my money for the casino. I wouldn't want it added to my seapass card....i would be broke when i got home if they did that.

Yes I am going out on the Sovereign November 11th....and then again December 9th. I can't wait. I was out on the same ship in Jan of '04 and loved it. And that was before they refurbished it.....so its going to be even better. That time was my first cruise and it had me hooked enough that I went on the Mariner in Oct of '04 and fell in love with 7 day cruises. I must say I am addicted to cruising now. We'll have to chat more. How do you do the cruise ticker/countdown thing?

  • Kerri, this is where i got my clock

  • Go to this page - http://www.geocities.com/quietman01970/maker1.htm.
  • Input all the required information into the form.
  • Click the "Generate UBB Clock code" button to generate the code for your clock, which will appear in the last box on that page.
  • Copy the code onto your computer's clipboard.
  • Come back to CC.
  • Go to your User CP (the link is near the top left hand corner of the page).
  • Go to Edit Signature (the link is in the list on the left hand side of the page).
  • Paste the UBB code into the text entry box.
  • Click the Preview Signature button.
  • Does it look right? If so, click the Save Signature button.

So how do you copy the code onto the clipboard?

  • Select the whole of the code by highlighting it with your mouse.
  • You can also do this by clicking quickly on that code three times.)
  • Go to Edit (in the menu bar at the top of the window) and then click on Copy.
  • Alternatively, right-click on the highlighted area, and then, when the popup menu comes up, left-click on Copy.
  • Or, just press CTRL+C on your keyboard.

OK, now how do you paste the code into the CC page for creating your signature?

  • Left-click once inside the text entry box, at the point where you want the clock to appear, so as to get the cursor active there.
  • Then go to Edit (in the menu bar at the top of the window) and then click on Paste.
  • Alternatively, right-click inside the text entry box at the point where the cursor is, and then, when the popup menu comes up, left-click on Paste.
  • Or, just press CTRL+V on your keyboard.

So is it all working? Go to one of your posts in CC. Can you see your signature at the end of each of the post? If you can't see any signatures at all, either yours or anyone else's, then try the following. Also do this if you can see signatures, but all the clock codes show as clickable links instead of as clock images.

  • Go to your User CP.
  • Then go to Edit Options (from the list on the left)
  • Scroll down to Thread Display Options and check (at least) the boxes for Show Signatures and Show Images.
  • Go to the bottom of that page and click on Save Changes.
