I can't remember if it was on this thread on not... what kind of stores are on the Jewel?

On Jewel there are two areas, one small shop alongside Java Cafe on deck 7 but the much larger multi-department area aft also on deck 7, above Tsar's. There is a jewelry area, duty-free area, clothing area, perfumery and souvenir area. Quite well laid out but can get busy sometimes, the smaller version near Java sells a selection of what is available in the larger one.

I was much more impressed with shopping on the Jewel than on any other NCL ship. As Goldryder pointed out the shops are laid out well. Near the Java Cafe is the shop carrying such merchandise as Lladros and fine china pieces. Along down the way are the jewelry shops within the main area and the usual souvenir area, but the store is quite large. The duty free liquor and cigarette area is at one end. We found the prices a little higher than in the past, but that is to be expected. Of course the old stand bys like Columbia Emeralds are part of the shopping arcade as well as the silver and gold displays and the t shirt display. NMNita
