Carnival Dream and cove balcony

Just booked cabin 8220 on the Dream. They told me this was a cove balcony. I thought cove balconies were always on lower decks. Anyone ever stayed in this cabin?

Its definitely not a Cove but its in a pretty good spot-in a more expensive area of ship

Definitely NOT a cove balcony. The Verandah deck is my favorite deck and that's where you will be. Your cabin is very far forward and it is a connecting door cabin.

 

Whoever told you it was a cove is badly mistaken or gave you the wrong cabin number. I would certainly double check with him/her and if he/she insists it's a cove, I'd look to change to someone who knows more. Good luck!

Coves are all on deck 2. So your 4 digit room number would have to start with a 2 to be a cove.

 

Maybe 2280? Not likely but you can hope :)

thanks for the replies. It is 8220 and Veranda is the deck we asked for. Don't know why the Carnival rep. told us it was a cove.
