Rare cml4958 Posted August 13, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) I have no information about the hotels but have you checked out trip advisor? They generally have reviews for hotels there. Edited August 13, 2015 by cml4958
nmg85 Posted August 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 13, 2015 From memory the centre hotel has a slightly more central location.
Nitemare Posted August 13, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 13, 2015 nmg is correct. We stayed at the Best Western. It was about 5 minutes walk further away from town, but close to a grocery store and the Phallus Museum. There are dozens of other choices in all budgets. Bollinge Posted August 13, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 13, 2015 It would waste less peoples' time if you had entitled your post "Hotel tips for Reyjavik in June 2016", or whenever, having already looked up recommendations on other sites such as TripAdvisor. FWIW, last time we stopped at the Centre Hotel Thingholdt, which is centrally located and very modern. My TripAdvisor review is less than flattering, as the bathroom was very tatty, and the receptionist annoying. But most folk would be very happy there.
