jfried8 Posted August 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2015 Had a Vista Suite room 4237, absolutely amazing. Only ate in the dining room twice....food was eh. Weather was superb the entire trip, other than a morning in Freeport. Did Chefs Table.....experience was incredible as was the food! Ate in the Steakhouse two evenings. Beyond delicious. Went to only one show, marriage show, hilarious. Vibrations were apparent but didn't ruin the trip at all, in fact helped us sleep! Alchemy bar....best bar on any ship! Won big in the casino. Overall great trip! We are pulling into Baltimore Harbor as I type. Any questions????
bjd2 Posted August 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2015 So glad to hear all of this. We along with friends and family have the opposite Vista suite from yours and connecting aft balcony for our Pride cruise in April. We love the steakhouse and Chef's Table so really enjoy hearing that they were great. Thanks for sharing!

bambilin Posted August 16, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 16, 2015 Glad you had a great cruise! Can you tell me if there was live music on Lido? Oh and if you don't mind, your secret for winning big in the casino? LOL
crazycruzer68 Posted August 16, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 16, 2015 How was the CD, I haven't read many good comments about him.
jfried8 Posted August 16, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted August 16, 2015 Didn't hear live music on the Lido...just a DJ and no "cruise" style Caribbean music...we got off regular style, no self assist and since I was in a wheel chair they brought me right to the front of the line. Off the ship at 10am in my car by 1015! Secret to casino? Lucky slots! Cruise director was okay. We spent most of our time on the huge balcony! Wasn't a fan when we saw him. Barbluvstocruz Posted August 16, 2015 #12 Share Posted August 16, 2015 JFried - I'm bummed I never saw you scooting around! I was in the casino quite a bit, but usually at BlackJack. Got an offer for a free cruise. Going to see if I can use it to go with a friend early in 2016. We were also a little "eh" with the food this time. I enjoyed Guys, Pizza and Blue Iguana. Wish I could have tried the Steakhouse. We ate in the dining room most nights. I hope that you were able to enjoy everything despite the broken ankle!!! :) For those wondering about the green slide..it was finally fixed mid-day on Wed (Port Canaveral Day). It was closed on Saturday due to high winds. :) Barb
jfried8 Posted August 16, 2015 Author #13 Share Posted August 16, 2015 I'm surprised! Everyone was stopping me and was so impressed lol. Guys was great, didn't love the pizza and Blue Iguana was good. I got to say, the Steak House was phenomenal. And I'm a foodie. Overall a great cruise! Here is a shot from last nights sunset from our balcony!

Overall great trip! We are pulling into Baltimore Harbor as I type. Any questions???? Thanks much! I had this suite a few years ago and have it again for NYE. While the cabin capacity is 2, I know we have the living room area. Do you recall how big the sofa is? Can someone sleep on it? My daughter will be in a cabin with 2 others, but wants to have an area of her own, and I'm thinking she could have this living room, but can't remember how big the sofa is. Thanks! And glad to hear the vibration wasn't horrendous. 2 years ago, it was noticeable, but more lulling than unbearable. Thx
jfried8 Posted August 18, 2015 Author #21 Share Posted August 18, 2015 The vibration was there, some days more than others, we taped some cabinets shut and took off the glasses that were rattling and we slept well. It was there, just not a deal breaker.
