I know they come out around March/April 2016, does that include 2018? How does the schedules work, eg Alaska May-Sept just an example.

They will probably release sailings through April 2018.

Schedules released in February/March/April of 2016 will cover "most" itineraries sailing from May 2016 through April of 2018.

 

Here is an example of how the itineraries were released in 2014 for May of 2014 through April of 2016:

 

 

• Week of February 10th ~~ Summer/Fall Caribbean and Northeast & Fall Canada ~~ Released February 13th
  
• Week of February 17th ~~ Europe / Alaska ~~ Released February 19th
  
• Week of February 24th ~~ Additional Europe ~~ Released February 26th
  
• Week of March 3rd ~~ Additional Europe ~~ Released March 5th
  
• Week of March 17th ~~ Winter Caribbean
  
• Week of March 24th ~~ Australia/Hawaii and Winter Caribbean
