Taxis at Port of Galveston

This is probably a silly question, but if we self disembark, there should be taxis available early at the port, right? Considering a private transfer, but nervous about providing a time and getting off the ship too early or too late. Never cruised from this port before. Thank you for any input.

Yes taxis are available, and limos are available with reservation, and there is Cool Tours limos transfers and Galveston Limos transfers with buses .

I have not used them for I live in Galveston. Therefore Costs I'm not sure of. And I know there are others including ship transfers.
