Carrying on your own luggage

Remember on Princess ships you go directly to your cabin after boarding. So, if you do choose to handle your own large luggage you can bring it directly to your cabin.

 

Although, sometimes there is a delay for those that embark early so the room may not be ready. It would be a huge hassle to schlep around with a full-size bag with all passengers boarding and making their way to lunch service.

Well worth it to have your luggage in your cabin before 6pm.

Even if the stateroom is not ready you can still drop off your bags.
