Short Fantasy review

Just back off the Fantasy Aug.15- 22 here is my opinion.

1] Embarkation was a breeze we were onboard by 11 30. Debarkation took very little time also.

2] Cabin steward Po took very good care of our two cabins E172 and E174.

3] Javier and his helpers were great to us in any time dining.

We went a family of six and took advantage of all activities from pool/waterslide, serenity area, ping pong, putt putt, trivia, casino. Loved the comedy shows both PG and adult, son and daughter in law went dancing and we even attended the Boston concert. We stayed busy.

In Grand Turk we went and did a little shopping while the guys laid in loungers in the shade.

HMC-we stayed the whole time loved it as usual. Our son and DIL rode bikes and swam with the stingrays they love it too.

Nassau-went to straw market then uptown and bought a couple pieces at a jewelry store. Kids wanted to see Nassau so we took a 2 hour tour-her name is Della Reece she was wonderful.

We just got off same cruise, had a blast. Easy embark and disembark, we were on ship and had dropped off the carryon's by 11:30 as well.

Pros: Ship is clean and staff is great, food was good both in dinning room and elsewhere (pizza, carved sandwich etc). Had a blast, very much enjoyed the comedy clubs and of course sitting up by the chess board to relax (and DS played over 30 games during the week, winning 90% of them, great competition for all).

Had cabana at HMC, we were grateful for the shade, the fans and ac just to get cool for a minute, beautiful view from #13, worth it for sure! Saw many CC people at Jacks GT, nice beach and relaxing, $10 for a couple of chairs and umbrella...nice time

Did some stuff at Atlantis, DH and DS especially loved the aquarium and watching people snorkel inside the aquarium (they will do that next time)...shopped a little in town on way back to ship.

Cons: sorry need to say it, way too much smoke in hallway near casino, we did what we could to avoid that route but just walking thru that area was disgusting, very small area around bar there and that prob contributed to issue, ship is a smaller one so maybe that had something to do with it as well, IDK....its a tough one

Children that leave their food dishes (especially ice cream) on stairs, really??? There seemed to be a lot of it this trip for some reason, zero manners I guess. Even if there is someone to clean it up doesn't mean its ok to do it kids, I do not even know what else to say about that issue (except you have to wonder about the parents right???)

All in all great trip for us, easy 3.5 hr. drive to port (we parked at port, very easy).

I agree with your cons kind of forgot about that. One other thing is at the very front of the ship beyond the putt putt area we walked into people smoking pot one night and I went promptly to guest services and turned them in.

Since you parked at the port, what time did you arrive to drop off luggage & then park?

Sent from my iPhone using Forums

We dropped our luggage by 10 30 and they sent us on to line up to pay to park there we waited until 11 00 an was onboard by 11 30.
