Royal2464 Posted August 25, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2015 This time of year itineraries are uncertain. Just have to remain flexible and hope the storms stay away from the home ports, otherwise the Captains will do their best to provide smooth sailing. Janet524 Posted August 25, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 25, 2015 It's always a roll of the dice when cruising during hurricane season. Like Bob said, go with the flow. The safety of the guests and ship is the most important thing. Even if the itinerary is changed, just remember...you're on a cruise - chill and enjoy! Beachammo Posted August 25, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2015 Not really concerned about cruise itinerary changes. My concern is flight cancellations into FLL.

Also always a possibility any time, but moreso during hurricane season. Most airlines will allow changes when the storm looks imminently threatening, but to not be charged you have to wait for them to say "We're offering itinerary changes" AND hope that there is availability on the flight you want to change to. CaribSailor Posted August 25, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted August 25, 2015 Not really concerned about cruise itinerary changes. My concern is flight cancellations into FLL. Agreed. Also it goes without saying that if you book this time of the year you are aware of potential changes due to weather.
