SCGirl3211 Posted August 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Does anyone know if Celebrity will be planning any ship events (pool party, dance party, etc) onboard when the ships will be in port overnight (i.e. St. Maarten)? Is their focus likely going to be on getting people off the ship or trying to keep them onboard?
cle-guy Posted August 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2015 IN the recent online chat with the CEO, they said they are planing to bring local entertainment on the ships. Casino and stores will also be open while in port. All normal evening activities still happen, 2 shows a night in theatre, bars all open etc. Summit overnights for 3 nights in Bermuda all summer, and is an active ship at nights, I don't expect it to me much different with the caribbean overnights. elkay68 Posted August 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Any thoughts on the Millennium when we are overnight in Japan during the transpacific?
SantaFeFan Posted August 27, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Any thoughts on the Millennium when we are overnight in Japan during the transpacific? Last February on Millennium we did overnights in Singapore, Bangkok, Hanoi and Hong Kong. Other than that the ship was not moving, it seemed like any other evening on the ship. I would expect the same on your cruise.
flames9 Posted August 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2015 On our recent British Isles cruise---stayed overnight in Dublin----they brought in local Celtic dancers and a singer.....We went to the early show at 2045, and it was a packed house!!
