Igerster Posted August 31, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2015 I love cruising on Halloween. Have done it a couple times. They decorate the ship. Have a costume contest, for the adults. The costumes range from family friendly to not so much. Also if you are a gambler the casino does special giveaways all night.

EdmundXXIII Posted September 7, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 7, 2015 Is the adult costume contest family friendly, or do people get a bit naughty?
Avril Posted September 8, 2015 #9 Share Posted September 8, 2015 Just wondering, we will be on the Vista for Halloween next year but I noticed that someone said in an earlier post on this thread that they don't do Halloween stuff on cruises sailing before October 26th. Our cruise sails on October 21st from Barcelona and we debark on November 3rd (I think, might be the 4th) in New York. I was looking forward to Halloween onboard as I've heard that it's a lot of fun but is my cruise too early? I would be disappointed if so but it wouldn't ruin my cruise of course. I can't wait for this cruise, gonna be a blast (especially since Carnival turned our cabin into a Havana cabin after we booked, WOO HOO)!! :D

It should still be decorated for Halloween, but the decorations probably won't go up until a few days before Halloween on the ship. :)
