Hello,

I am on a 10 Night Cruise this Fall , Transatlantic with Norwegian.

I haven't before done reservations for the Main Dining Rooms, is this something you suggest?

I understand they can be changed on your TV or onboard?

In March 2014 our last with Norwegian we didn't on the Getaway and were always fine to walk in.

I kinda do want to overplan but wonder if perhaps is an easy thing to change or if its become a bigger item this year.

We will be doing specialty for 3-4 Nights. Let me know your thoughts, thanks so much.

For my first cruise, I made reservations for the MDR for the first 2 nights to make sure we could eat when we wanted (we previously sailed on HAL and waits there were longer without reservations). After that, we discovered that reservations were not necessary because we like to eat early. There was often a short line right at 5, but not too bad.

Next time, since we will have a group of 7, I will probably do the same: reservations for the first 1-2 nights, then see how it goes.
