bluewhite Posted September 5, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2015 How many atm's on the Reflection? How much money per day can one take out with debit card? How much money from credit card? What is the fee for doing these transactions? Thank you in advance for the information.
BSinPNS Posted September 5, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2015 For non-European cruises both have USD at least Carib and South America. In Europe and Med - one with USD and one with Euros. I forget what was available on the Australia/NZ cruise. 6 USD fee - appears as Wells Fargo Miami. Not sue of the limit, but have seen some take 600 USD at a time. Probably whatever your card max is. cat maran Posted September 6, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2015 FYI I have never been on the Reflection, but have cruised on 3 Solstice and 2 Millennium ships. Don't count on the ATM on the ship to be available and handing out money. By the 2nd day of both 10 and 14 day cruises, the ATM was "Out of Order". And the sign never came off for the balance of the trips. Take the cash you need and store it in your safe, or pay the 5% and get cash at the casino. Can you buy chips in dollars and cash out what's left of your chips in Euros?
az_tchr Posted September 11, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Everything on board is in USD. Getting Euros on board involves a terrible exchange rate. The ATMs on board will pay out up to your personal limit. The problem is when it is empty it can stay that way for a while or the balance of the cruise. Get whatever money you want early in the cruise.
shoylman Posted September 11, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 11, 2015 i had the same question and called celebrity last week. I was told that there are 2 ATM's - 1 at the casino and 1 at guest relations. Celebrity doesn't impose a max, based upon your credit/debit card limits. In Europe the atm can dispense USD or Euros. Geist relations will cash a personal once for up to 200.00. You can also establish a casino line of credit for 10,000 and settle your account by check at end of cruise. I haven't had any experience 1st hand, just what I am told.
bluewhite Posted September 11, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Thanks all for your replies. Sholyman, we looked into a line of credit but due to the Canadian dollar we didn't want to do 10,000 dollars. someone at the Celebrity told us we could cash up to $1000. a dayin traveler checks. Seems a lot.
