desertmoon Posted September 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2015 We've seen the ship's excursions and connected online with some Trip Advisor suggestions, but is it possible to simply pick up a local guide or tour? We've had good luck doing this in many ports but we don't want to get stranded without options. Some of the online vendors say the rates ($45 per hour) are dictated by Aruba regulations, but there seem to be exceptions. Can you negotiate with the free-lancers as we have in Mexico and Puerto Rico, etc?
Arubalisa Posted September 9, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2015 Private TAXI tours are $45 per hour with a MAXIMUM of 5 people as required by law TOURs my charge less but will have many more than 5 people. If you want to wing it, you should be able to pick up one of these tours when you get off the ship.
