FLL Hotel - July 2, 2016 help me decide

I have started to research hotels for our pre- cruise. We will be arriving in FLL on Sat. July 2. around 3:00 pm. Only need 1 night then boarding the Allure on July 3. We are a party of 4. (3 adults and 1 teenager)

 

The Embassy Suites is sold out for our arrival date. I am looking at the Gallery One or Bahia Mar. Both are comparable in price. which would you choose?

Hyatt Regency Pier 66 can accommodate you for $169.

I have stayed both. Would choose Gallery One. Rooms are suites, next to Galleria Mall, across from Publix grocery, 3 blocks to beach. Only plus for Bahia Mar would be across street from beach and a few dollars less cab fare to port.

Embassy Suites is $159 for the night of 7/2 on LMT.

Gallery One because it's adjacent to the Galleria Mall, which has nice shops and restaurants. There is also a Publix supermarket diagonally across the street where you could buy last minute items.

If you can't get Embassy.. and since you don't arrive until late afternoon and since you need space, I'd go with Gallery One. You're still just a few blocks from beach and nearby restaurants and certainly the water taxi if looking to see the waterway.
