minimize photo

Hello. Can anyone tell me how I could minimize a photo to about an inch without compromising the picture? I'm not all that computer savvy, so please keep that in mind. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do you use any photo editing software?

I suppose you could also do it in word.

 

Open a blank page

Insert Photo, choose the photo, and click insert or enter

in word, click on the photo. On the top right, you can change the size.

 

Most photos are not square; are you looking to make it square?
