bonvoyagie Posted September 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2015 I see from both the bridge cam and AIS data that she is still in Juneau - along with the Pearl. Is she broken down? Waiting for an excursion to return? ?????
rjc2015 Posted September 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2015 Perhaps inclement weather at the glacier? Would that be enough to delay a departure?
Rare www3traveler Posted September 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2015 I think they reversed things today and did Sawyer Glacier first. She was there earlier today in not good weather.

Sea-Scanner.com says they arrived from Tracy Arm at 2pm local, and will leave for Skagway at 10pm. It should be noted that I think this is the last 7 day voyage for the Jewel in Alaska this season. Perhaps they are testing a change itinerary for next year.

Just Retired TN Teacher Posted September 23, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 23, 2015 I was on this trip and we did the Glacier viewing in the morning. It was pitch dark by 7:30 so I imagine they reversed the schedule to allow daylight viewing of the arm and glacier. Ice prevented us from getting really close but view was still pretty amazing.
