Royal Caribbean and Celebrity

Hey fellow cruisers,

 

We've completed 3 cruises with RCI and would like to continue booking with RCI and building points with them.

 

I've heard that RCI and Celebrity are joined at the hip, sister cruise lines. Would this be true?

 

If true, do points earned with Celebrity also count towards RCI and vice versa?

Points for Celebrity and Royal do not combine.

 

However, certain loyalty levels are reciprocated. For example, if you are Diamond on Royal, you can be Elite on Celebrity, even if you have no points on Celebrity.

While they are sister companies under the Roof of the parent Company RCCL I wouldn´t say they are joined at the hip.

 

Points only Count in the respective Programm Crown & Anchor on Royal and Captains Club for Celebrity. You will not get Points towards your C&A account when sailling Celebrity.

 

However they do a Status match if you are at least Platinum with Royal / Select with Celebrity. But still it´s just the Status Level, not the respective Points!!!!
