honeymoon06 Posted September 26, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2005 Hi, We're going to book our princess cruise tomorrow! Its on the coral panama canal cruise. We've been offered 4 cabins. Can anyone tell me if these are good cabins or worth avoiding? Baja Deck: B508, B509 Caribe Deck: B508, B509 (we may not be able to afford caribe deck but would appreciate opinons anyway) Are the balconys here quite covered? Thanks! Pam in CA Posted September 26, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 26, 2005 On the Caribe Deck, your cabin options would start with a "C". The balconies on Caribe are about 2x as large as on Baja. They are half-covered, half-uncovered; on Baja, I think the balconies are covered.
honeymoon06 Posted September 26, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted September 26, 2005 Sorry, i meant c508 and c509. We have also found out that c414 and c415 are available. I think these are located next to the stairs and lifts. I don't think i'll mind this but has anyone found that the rooms next to lifts are noisy at night? Thank you for any advice. LARGIN Posted September 26, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2005 You should not hear any noise from the lifts...
mii Posted September 28, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 28, 2005 We have had rooms by the elevators and never heard any noise from them. Have a great cruise on the Coral. As far as I am concerned it is the best ship Princess has. Marilyn
MaryPoppinz Posted September 28, 2005 #6 Share Posted September 28, 2005 All of those cabins are too close to the bumpout, in my opinion, which will affect your forward (508/9) or aft (414/5) views. The 508/9's are better than the 414/5's, but only slightly. If those are your only choices, I would go with C508 or C509, unless you want a smaller but fully-covered balcony. Is there anything available in the low-600's on either deck?
