Cozumel excursion

When we were in Cozumel last December Carnival offered an excursion that was a tour of the east side of the island and a visit to a tequila factory. I don't find it this year, in fact I don't find anything that goes to the east side. Am I missing something?

You can also go to the cabstand and they will take you anywhere you want to go. We have done this twice and both times we asked them to take us to the other side of the island and then to show us things that they like best. We ended up seeing some off the beaten path places we didn't know about.

Or the Cozumel Bar Hop is a really fun easy way to see the other side of the island.

I did La Casa en La Playa-A Select Retreat this month. Its a Cozumel Carnival al-inclusive excursion. It is really good if you like the beach. Its about a 15 minute ride from the port with transportation included. They take you to a private beach house and you spend about 5 hours. Besides the private beach house, they have a small pool and lots of beach space with lounge chairs. The Mexican cook makes your meals and you get to pick from several entrees. I had chicken and beef fajitas. They also serve an appetizer and all drinks are included. I found the mojitos to be very tasty. :) They wait on you at the pool and the beach and bring drinks to you in your chair or in the pool. It's a wonderful relaxing beach day. The food, drinks, and service were all excellent.
