Looking for a sailboat/catamaran to St John for a group of 15. Any suggestions?

We're looking for either a sailboat or catamaran tour from Charlotte Amalie (or close by) to St John for the day. We're a group of 15 and will be in port while sailing on the new NCL Escape in March. A snorkel and lunch with drinks would be ideal.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

New Horizons is a 65' sloop out of Sapphire marina on the East End that takes larger groups, you'd have to taxi there at $20pp round trip unless you found a driver that you can work with. They moor off Honeymoon Beach in Caneel Bay for great snorkeling with an excellent Italian lunch, fun crew, and their painkillers and nooners are very good. Next stop is off Great St James or as conditions dictate. I believe we were out from 10 - 4.

This sounds really nice! Thanks for the suggestion. Had a look online and as far as times go, it should be doable for our time in port.

Are there any other ships or similar excursions to give thought to?

Most are monohulls with a 6-passenger max but there are also some cats. If no recommendations here for a sail that will accommodate your size group try looking in the St Thomas section under day charters at vinow dot com

Will try that. Thanks Blue Water!
