Florings Posted September 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2015 I always want something cold and yummy, but only know Funship Special (which is only ok to me), Kiss on the Lips, and Miami Vice - only because others told me about those last 2, which we had on our last cruise (they were very good). I want to try some new things - I don't mind the occasional dirty martini, but prefer my wine dry and my cocktails icy (or slushy) and sweeter. What do you recommend? Jana60 Posted September 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2015 My favorites are the Miami Vice for a sweet frozen drink or an apple pucker Long Island tea if I want something strong and not overly sweet.
realjd Posted September 22, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2015 Can't go wrong with a margarita, frozen or in the rocks, or a good mojito.

OKC Cruisers Posted September 22, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 22, 2015 BBC! Mudslide! Pina Colada! Dirty Monkey! Margarita! Banana Daiquiri! Well, heck, when I'm on a cruise and sitting on the Lido Deck or Serenity, just about anything with a paper umbrella will do. Now, in the evening, I get sophisticated...a glass of merlot or chardonnay, or maybe a pinot gris, no wait, a syrah... Now, if I can just get them to start serving Moscow Mules, my Cheers package would be complete! Pete
junglecat Posted September 22, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) I'm a die hard Kenny Chesney fan here so ANYTHING with Blue Chair Bay is a go. I recently tried "Island Girl" I think it's called. Blue Chair Bay coconut rum, pineapple juice and oj. YUMMY! Florings Posted September 22, 2015 Author #13 Share Posted September 22, 2015 Funship Special, yes the first day and it is like red koolade, watered down...At least that is my opinion. ALL of these drinks are sounding good - I am making a list so I can try some of these on my upcoming cruise!!

springs741 Posted September 22, 2015 #18 Share Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) Sometimes you just have to get brave. I always avoided the Mocha Chocolate Getaway because of the Butterscotch Schnapps. I am not a butterscotch fan. OMG, how could I have denied myself this yummy concoction for so many cruises. This if often my dessert. I also enjoy Dirty Monkeys off ship and BBC on board. Fruit is healthy, right? sweetsixteencruisers Posted September 22, 2015 #20 Share Posted September 22, 2015 This sounds interesting. What is in it? Cucumber Sunrise: 2 slices of cucumber (muddle in the shaker) 2 oz of vodka 1 oz of orange juice 1 oz Monin watermelon syrup 1 oz fresh lime juice Add all in shaker over ice. Shake and Strain over ice. Enjoy! Very refreshing...
Florings Posted September 22, 2015 Author #21 Share Posted September 22, 2015 Oh my, loving these ideas. Definitely having the Mocha Chocolate Getaway for dessert at least once. Cucumber Sunrise, French Kiss, and Island Girl, too. Waiting to hear what is Dirty Monkey and BBC to see if I add to the list... I want to try at least one new drink every day!

caitmac1 Posted September 22, 2015 #24 Share Posted September 22, 2015 The Cucumber Sunrise was okay, but the REMEDY from the Alchemy bar is THE BEST. Coconut rum, dark rum, oj, pineapple juice, lime, bit of sprite- YUM!
