NorthWildwood Posted September 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2015 Leaving on the Regatta Radiant Retreat in about a month. Does anyone know where the ship docks while in port in Boston? We are trying to figure out how to get to the New England Aquarium. Thank you.
deercottage Posted September 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2015 On the same cruise. The Regatta docks at pier 88. Have no idea how close it is to the aquarium, but it is located on the water front close to the docks. Check their web site for a map. Hope this helps. Chris. hondorner Posted September 22, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2015 Map indicates 1.6 miles from cruise port to aquarium. I could not find a map of the cruise port locating berth 88. If you're not mobility challenged, the map indicates it would take 32 minutes to walk. There appear to be sidewalks and crosswalks all the way. A taxi might take 9 minutes depending on traffic. There is a bus, "SL2", right outside the cruise port that will take you part way, 4 stops, about a mile. You would still have to walk about .6 mile (1 kilometer). Much of the walk would be along the harbor, which is nice. In fact, there is a "Harborwalk" that goes out along many piers and wharfs and back. The completed Harborwalk will be 47 miles long! redjetz Posted September 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2015 Hi. I live in Boston - I would take a taxi or Uber. A bit confusing to find your way there. Cheers.

Agree since you can not walk " as the crow flys" because of inlets in between.
