$5 Match Play in the Casino

I am going on the OCT 31st sailing of the Conquest and was trying to search for the $5 match play. I thought I read that it was discontinued, but couldn't find it. Has anyone purchased the Ultimate drink and showed the receipt to the Casino Cashier to receive the match play? That is a great perk if you play in the Casino. It could be a win win or win lose, either way it would be great if they still have it!

Discontinued. I was bummed because I loved the extra $5 play on the blackjack tables.

Are you talking about the $5 match play you could get by buying one of the Classic Cocktails off the bar menu? If so, it still is available. You need to buy the drink in the comedy lounge, the piano bar or the main show lounge. Further more.. if you do, ask them for a copy of the receipt when you order the drink. They have stopped giving copies of the receipts for drink orders but if you want it for the match play you need the receipt. Don't wait for them to deliver your drink and then ask for it or it most likely will never arrive.

Yes, I guess it's not the Ultimate Cocktail, but the "Classic Cocktail" When did you sail and which ship?

This is really a bummer if it is discontinued........... I am not a big gambler, but love some roulette...........

 

so what is the final answer......... discontinued completely, or just for drinks sold at specific venues (piano bar, show, etc.)??

We're getting on Fascination on Saturday for a 5-day.

 

I'm sure hoping that it's still in force... hubby and I have a system. For our evening happy hour, I get a mojito, he gets a Long Island, he gets the match plays for blackjack. ;)

They did not have Match Play on the Pride this summer. They did have it on the Elation last summer. Wonder if it's ship by ship.

They were gone from the Fantasy in February as well as the matched pairs side bet in blackjack. They were replaced with Lucky Ladies.

 

We miss the match play...it would just about cover the cost of our cheers package. Guess they caught on!

They had it on the Liberty in March and Valor in August. I didn't use it myself, but saw plenty of people use the cards at the roulette table.
