We will have a sailaway party and a meet and mingle and there will be an opportunity to share shore excursions! However, there is no requirement to do anything with the group if you just want to take advantage of the pricing and amenties--its ok! Thre is also no group dining--you eat when you want. The reduced deposit of $100 pp only runs through Friday, September 30. The standard Princess deposit is $250 per person, so this is a nice deal. The travel agency Cruise Critic uses for the group cruise does not charge cancellation fees, so even if you have been considering booking, but haven't made up your mind yet, you can book now and then if you decide to cancel, there are no cancellation fees as long as you cancel before the final payment is due to Princess.

 

The Cruise Critic group rates are better than individual rates and there is $50 per cabin shipboard credit, a photo credit and other amenities. The shipboard credit and other amenities listed on the group member page are generally offered for the group. However, if you book by Sept. 30, you also receive a Princess coupon book for your cabin which has a value of $120. So those booking during this week will also get this extra.
