NMLady Posted September 29, 2015 #27 Share Posted September 29, 2015 I for one try to read a lot of, if not all reviews in the RCCL section of CC. Sometimes, people's opinions on minor things totally sway me. Am I the only one? Have you taken someone's review and treated it as gospel? Do you ignore every review posted and make your own minds? I expect there to be a wide spectrum of responses here, and was just curious as to what people think :) I read them and sometimes get new info or good ideas but I don't pay attention to rants or raves. QTPieTrader Posted September 29, 2015 #28 Share Posted September 29, 2015 I take all reviews with a "grain of salt." However, the ones that are tremendously extreme (too positive or too negative) I don't take at all. No cruise can be that good or that bad. (Unless it is ruined by ship malfunction, etc.) QTPie
rodenboy Posted October 2, 2015 Author #29 Share Posted October 2, 2015 Some excellent points here. I think the thing that made me wonder was the fact that Jamaica was considered such a dangerous area to be. However when I was experiencing the port myself, I had no issues. dorisis Posted October 2, 2015 #30 Share Posted October 2, 2015 While the reviews don't change my mine on taking a cruise, I do enjoy reading them.Sometimes, there are some helpful "tid-bits" of information. :) LuLu It's those" tid-bits" that I look for when I read reviews, They can be very helpful.
