ctrinco Posted September 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2015 I've noticed a spafinder sign onboard at the spa - has anyone been successful at using a spafinder gift card at an onboard spa?

Rare conandrob240 Posted September 30, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 30, 2015 It does list a number of cruiselines (most of them) and then has a little disclaimer that basically says may not be valid on all. Really helpful! Not!

Really helpful! Not! correct!! http://www.spafinder.com/Cruise-Ship-Spas.htm I know I've seen the sign on Freedom and on Serenade, but I don't think I asked about using a gift card. I'm not sure how it would even work because everything is charged to your cabin account. But it seems like - why would they even both with spa finder then if you can't? Rare rudeney Posted September 30, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Costco sells SpaFinder GC's for 20% off ($100 GC costs $80). That would be a good deal if they accept them on the ship. I suspect they might not, though, because don't they only accept your SeaPass card as payment (cash tips excepted)?
millineumwoman Posted October 5, 2015 #9 Share Posted October 5, 2015 This is the reply I received from Kevin thistle a csr from Royal Regrettably, we do not accept SpaFinder gift cards onboard our ships. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause. With regards to the Thermal Suites onboard the Jewel of the Seas, we must kindly ask you to inquire once onboard as prices are subject to change. There is also a complimentary sauna and steam room onboard that is not part of the Thermal Suites.
Rare rudeney Posted October 5, 2015 #10 Share Posted October 5, 2015 Well, that's not what I wanted to hear, but it is what I expected. Thanks for getting the info!
