Waiting for tenders to get off ship in Villefranche

Recommended Posts

I was wondering how long we can expect to wait before we can get off the ship in Villefranche. We are not taking the ship excursions and I have heard that those taking the ship excursions get off first? Has it been a problem for anyone?

I had asked this question earlier on this board.(We are on the splendour, Jun5.) Two folks assured me that there were no problems; they were able to get off early, and the tenders ran frequently all day. That was on the Brilliance and the Splendour, so we should be OK. Have a good trip! Muzzy

Sometimes it is Ok, and sometimes its a problem. It depends on the ship, the weather, and somewhat on the passengers. They do normally take the tours off first (this makes me angry) but usually there is also room for independent passengers. The best advice is get to the appropriate public waiting room early (this will be in your daily schedule) and get a low number (they give out tender tickets).
