dataquatics Posted September 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2015 Just wondering if anyone is able to advise which scuba operator Carnival engages for dives on the Coolidge in Santo. Thanks.
lagoon380 Posted September 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2015 The main businesses who run dives on the Coolidge are Allan power and aquamarine, there is a third one I think as well. I dived the Coolidge in 94 along with Million dollar point which is near by. When I was there the dive was run by the dive staff on the ship (Fairstar). I highly recommend the dive. Call Carnival, they should be able to tell you who runs the dives for them.
ozziepost Posted October 1, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2015 You could also post a thread on the Vanuatu - Santo forum in trip advisor one of the DE's may know who Carnival use at Santo. Just a thought and worth a try to see what you can find out.
avalon007 Posted October 3, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2015 My husband dived Coolidge last year & I snorkelled million dollar point as I had a head cold - Coolidge is quite deep in places - just worth mentioning as you don't state what level of diver you are. Both sites are very closed to each other as well. We sailed RCCL & they organised the Coolidge as part of their shore excursions, they used Allan Power I think, but I recommend going with whoever the ship uses as they will have to have a reasonable safety record for the ship to use them. I would definitely dive Million Dollar point if we get back there - it was fantastic even snorkelling.
