Booked for Enchantment of the Seas, 4 night on November 30th

This is our 3rd Cruise, but 1st with Royal and 1st with a baby in tow :)

My Dad and Stepmom are taking the whole family on a cruise this year in lieu of gifts:D (2 Grandparents, 4 Siblings, 1 Step Sibling, 5 spouses, 7 Grandkids, and 1 Random Bachelor Uncle)

I know the older nieces and nephews will have a blast, but can anyone offer some tips/advice/ideas for mine and my sister's one year old boys?

Are there any free activities or play areas etc?

Not looking to spend a lot of extra money on an in room sitter (hate the idea of leaving him alone with a complete stranger anyways) or at the Royal Tots (kind of a bummer that some time in there is not covered with the cruise rate).

Thanks for the help!

Our DGD (now 6 and a veteran of 5 cruises) was 14 months old when she cruised with us, her parents, and an aunt on Enchantment. We had 2 adjoining rooms which was nice because when she napped someone could be in the other room watching tv or doing something else, but still able to hear if she woke up.

At her age her favorite thing to do was walk! We'd take turns following her around the ship - elevators, hallways, wherever her little body wanted to go.

One thing one year olds shouldn't do is use the pool (unless you have unusual one-year olds who are potty trained). Swimmies don't really do the job. We did a Disney cruise once where they let infants in the kiddie pool, but the pool had to be closed several times each day for clean-up.

They actually have a separate baby pool for babies on independence and oasis class ships : )
