There are sheltered tables in the pool area and there also a games room that's pretty quiet when we have been in there. It also has a bunch of games and decks of cards but I

would make sure it's a full deck, if not get a deck from reception.

Overall there are a lot of quiet area's on board whether you want sun or no sun.

We were on the STAR in June and they had a meeting space opened with a bunch of board games and a few people were in there playing. We played cards in there for a few hours. Might be nicer to sit in the Spinnaker lounge and play if you bring your own games (as long as no other activities are in there) You can sit up by the pool as well. Not too many public places that are quiet with views on the STAR that are inside.
