Nerds onboard NCL Star :)

Greetings!

 

My husband and I are board game nerds and hoping to play some games during our cruise. Is there anywhere good to setup a game? Nothing huge but somewhere for us to relax and play.

There are sheltered tables in the pool area and there also a games room that's pretty quiet when we have been in there. It also has a bunch of games and decks of cards but I

would make sure it's a full deck, if not get a deck from reception.

Overall there are a lot of quiet area's on board whether you want sun or no sun.

There are games in one of the meeting rooms on Deck 12. It's next to the Library. We borrowed the Star's Scrabble game, and played in there. It was comfortable, private, & quiet!

We were on the STAR in June and they had a meeting space opened with a bunch of board games and a few people were in there playing. We played cards in there for a few hours. Might be nicer to sit in the Spinnaker lounge and play if you bring your own games (as long as no other activities are in there) You can sit up by the pool as well. Not too many public places that are quiet with views on the STAR that are inside.
