Jillbu Posted October 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2015 So my adult daughter and I are booked on a $50 a person interior casino offer with $50 obc pp. she may have a new job that would require her to be in training ( mandatory for new hires). She does not have insurance. If she cancels or is a no show will they charge me the other $50 as a single supplement? Or full fare? I will call the Casino staff but curious if anyone had a similar experience?
vwrestler171 Posted October 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) If she cancels, they will charge you the other fare. I would just have her be a no show. Who's name is the casino offer? If it's hers and she cancels then you will lose the casino rate. Edited October 4, 2015 by vwrestler171
Jillbu Posted October 4, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted October 4, 2015 Thanks. I wonder if they would let me change the name. Oh well least it's only out 50$.
kublaieod Posted October 5, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 5, 2015 I am curious about this as well. I am booked on December 5 ultra cruise with free cabin. It is in my name and originally my wife was going. She has been promoted and may NOT be able to go. I am hoping that her just being a no show will not cost me anything. I know if I don't go I pay full fare price, so no way I am not going (god willing). I just hope my wife not being there won't cost me, I mean I could have went solo in the first place. If anyone has insight please share.
Jillbu Posted October 16, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted October 16, 2015 According to Carnival, the original person would lose their $50.00, and then the new person would pay the 50$ and all the normal port and fee's charges
cruzn buckeye Posted October 31, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 31, 2015 How do you do a no-show? Especially with a wife.. do you just show up and say she decided not to come that morning?? Just curious how this works for people...
sealovers Posted November 4, 2015 #7 Share Posted November 4, 2015 My TA told me a couple of years ago to never cancel a passenger....just let them be a no-show (transportation issues, illness, etc.). Otherwise, the primary who is sailing will incur all costs of the cancelled passenger. Don't know about Carnival's Casino cruises though.
