Conquest still at dock in Fort Lauderdale at 4:30pm

Our second cruise on the Conquest was late getting out of port by about 3 hours. We presumed it was because they got to port late that morning and were still taking fresh water on (we were watching from the observation deck above the bridge).

 

It did not delay us getting to our first port at all.

Breeze is still docked in Miami as well she was due to leave at 4

She arrived on time this morning per the Port Web site.

Probably has to do with the ongoing issues caused by Hurricane Joaquin. There are multiple itinerary changes happening with a lot of the cruise lines. What would have been their first ports of call?

What I meant by that is there are many many reasons a ship can be late leaving port. It is not a huge deal, and most delays can be made up at sea.

Maybe Oasis got clearance first? I'd be concerned if it was 7pm and she was still there..truthfully, I don't wear a watch on embarkation day, so I never know what time a ship actually leaves homeport.
