Carnival US vs Carnival AU

We have sailed on Carnival from Florida to the Caribbean 10+ times and always enjoyed it. For both our 60th birthdays my wife and I have booked a cruise on the Spirit from Sydney and visiting New Zealand. We leave on February 12th, 2016. :)

What differences, both better and worse, will we notice sailing on Carnival AU vs Carnival US?

Thanks.

You might like to ask this question on the Australian board: http://boards.cruisecritic.com.au/forumdisplay.php?f=712

A few differences:

- no tipping

- better coffee

- more Australian wine and beer

- room service isn't free

- Australian plugs/electrical outlets in cabins, so pack a power adapter

- about 99% Australians on the ship!
