Do we pay ahead of time or go they charge our account and we pay at the end?

If she someone wants to pay it ahead of time for us, who do we call?

 

Do we tip?

 

What do you wear? I know that heels and open toe shoes are not recommended.

We just did the Chef's table this week on the Fascination.

They charged us as we finished the meal and we also tipped.

Don't know if they can pay ahead of time, maybe they can give you a gift card to apply to your account.

There was a mixture of outfits at our seating...dress shorts, jeans, dress pants, dresses/skirts.

Can't pay ahead unfortunately. Technically tip is included in the cost, but I usually add extra.

 

Dress code follows the MDR dress code. Closed toed shoes recommended.

Most people tend to dress a little more nicely for Chef's Table. Tip is included, but like they said before, most people tend to tip some extra afterwards. They usually use the best steakhouse staff for it.

I will second all the previous comments as accurate. Some people dress up, some go cruise casual. Tipping- yes. You will have a great time!

Just got off the Triumph and the kitchen tour involved greasy slippery floors and grates with heel-catching holes. The chef frowned at the ladies with heels and cautioned them to be careful.

If someone wanted to prepay for you, have them go to the Carnival Fun Shop and purchase Cruise Cash. You will want to be sure that they either have your booking number or the exact date/ship that you will be cruising.

 

It will be applied to your Sail & Sign account when you board. Your dinner at the Chef's Table will also be applied to your S&S account, so you will be able to use the credit to take care of your Chef's Table bill.
