Hello,

Has anyone ever wired money to casino royale (Royal Caribbean) to play in the casino? I called the casino royale and was asking about a line of credit. I didn't know that you had to have a line in the US on land before you can open one on RCCL. So she said you can just wire money and it will be waiting for you at the casino cage. It will have zero fees to use it. If anyone has done this please reply and let me know if you had any issues. Thanks...

You don't have to worry about a line or wire. Your allowed 2k on your sea pass card per day. You will need to write a check at the end of the cruise if you owe any balance

Thanks Pete. I was under the impression if you do it that way you get a 5% charge on. Am I wrong on this? That's why I was going to wire money.

You can call RCI gifts & gear and put OBC on your account for the sailing. When you check in set up your setsail pass as a cash account (no credit card on file) and you can take cash out in the casino without the 5% charge (you may need to remind them at the casino that it's a cash account and you should not be charged the 5% though - some of the staff don't know and try to charge you). There has been reports that there's a maximum of $500 per day that you can take out but that's not consistent.

The best way might just be a cash account.

Especially if I can't find one person that has ever wired money.
