no chains in Bermuda...........There is a McDonalds but it is on the base and only open one day a week to locals...............

 

Bermuda has so many quality restaurants in all price ranges that they do not need the "chain" restaurants.

I guess it HAS been a long time since your hubby has been in Bermuda. :) The base closed years ago (maybe 1999?) and the McDonalds went with it.

 

There is one KFC in Hamilton, it got in before the Bermuda Government declared a moritorium on chain restaurants setting up here. So no Wendy's, McDonalds, Hard Rock, Planet Hollywood, Chili's, etc.

I know not having a HRC is really a good thing lol, I just needed a couple shirts is all! Daughter and son get one whenever we go to a new place with one. I can't wait to visit Bermuda, it sounds wonderful the more I hear!
