Could the Reflection Suite really go to a suite guarantee?

Our upcoming Reflection cruise has had the reflection suite and a number of other high end suites open since the cruise was available to book. Then they opened suite guarantees and when I looked today, all of the suites are gone, except for a couple of Sky Suites. Does Celebrity give the Reflection Suite away to a guarantee? Or does Celebrity give them to top travel agents or something like that? Seems like someone won the lottery if that's the case.

This is close to what happened to us on the Summit late last year. All of the suites were booked for months before finally payment. The two penthouse suite and one celebrity suite canceled last minute. After about three weeks they listed Royal gty for for less than the Celebrity suite. We figured worst case they would move one of the Royals up, but they did not. This was Royal gty not suite, but does happen. Penthouses was amazing.

We had the Reflection Suite on our January cruise. Originally, we were booked in a Signature Suite. Three days before departure, we got a call offering us an upsell, for a reasonable extra fee per person. Of course, we grabbed it --- and the Reflection Suite was amazing, we only wish we had our family with us! I ran into the new occupants of our original Signature suite, and they were also upsold from a lower suite. My guess is, they are more likely to go the upsell route than an upgrade or assign it to a suite guaranty.
