nik23 Posted October 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2015 Hello CC members: I need help deciding on a 7-day Eastern Caribbean cruise in Feb. 2017. My DH and I will be celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We were married in St. Thomas while cruising on the Carnival Inspiration in 1997. Hence, the St. Thomas port. All 3 ships are sailing the same itinerary and port times. Splendor and Glory are sailing out of Miami, while, Magic is Port Canaveral. Either ports are fine with us. We will be flying down from PA. Some bio. on us and our "LIKES". We are mid 40's sailing without children. (we try to cruise once a year, but are skipping 2016.:( 1. Balcony stateroom a must: Prime balconies available right now for 2017 sailings. (love Spa, but would love to try AFT or corner wrap) 2. Gym/Fitness facilities: daily workouts in the early am. Loved the Breeze sports deck with outdoor options too. 3. Outdoor Promenade: evening strolls outside after dinner 4. Guys Burger/Blue Iguana: Like, BUT not a deal breaker 5. Lido deck: not a fan of the stadium style deck plans 6. Early risers/Early to bed: so evening activities not a big deal 7. NO children: so waterslides, arcades, other activities not an issue 8. Size if ship: we've sailed all different classes, so the ship that feels least crowded is what we prefer. Thanks for reading and any opinions greatly appreciated. Singer4Him Posted October 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2015 I would probably go with the Magic since it will have the sports deck and it should have the 2.0 upgrades so you would also have Guy's and Blue Iguana. It's also one of the biggest ships in the fleet at this time. HTH!
