We went to the "Key Lime Pie Factory" and watched them making pies.

 

They also sold individual slices of Key Lime Pie on a popsicle stick, dipped in chocolate, and then frozen!

Several ice cream stores sell Kermit's frozen chocolate dipped key lime pie on a stick. They are great--and big. We shared one and it was still a lot to eat. Loved every bite:D

I've seen the most votes for Kermit's key lime pie on a stick, dipped in chocolate, then frozen.

Looks like not bad walking distance from ship. Can anyone verify that?

Kermit's is not a long walk from the ship. I wouldn't have mine dipped in chocolate, that is a sure way to run a good piece of key lime pie, but that is just my opinion.

My vote for the best Key Lime Pie in Key West is Blue Heaven. Funky outdoor dining at its best. Excellent food and drink. We are returning to KW on a cruise in a few weeks and will hit it again.

Definitely Kermit's for all things key lime. I love me some Blue Heaven too, but I would be stuffing my face with their berry pancakes instead of the key lime pie.
