Splenda on Caribbean Princess?

Bring your own supply. While I think Splenda is getting more available, it seems I have to keep asking for it. When I pack I merely toss a box of 100 packets in my bag to be safe. Then I grab several whenever I go to meals.

Sounds just like what I do on another line. Thanks!

We have 15 Princess cruises under our belt (Only cruise Princess) and there has always been Splenda on board. The only time is when people start hording it they run out. All you have to do if there no Splenda at your MDR table is ask for it. Not a big problem. Also in the Horizon Court it is at the coffee/tea bar.

Thanks, all. Sounds like I'll be all set...but I'll probably bring a small box just to be on the safe side. Life was pretty miserable when DCL didn't have any a couple years ago. Since I can't drink carbonated beverages, that left me with water as the only option!

As to the generics--some are fine, others are horrible (chemical aftertaste). I actually use a cheaper store brand at home, but I've experienced some that were just nasty.

Same here, they have always had it.

Side personal note. I did some reading to compare ingredients of Sweet and Low with Splenda. Sweet and Low was blasted years ago for possibly causing cancer in lab rats, but that later was deemed unlikely in humans as the intake quantity needed to be at risk was just too high. I am finding that I only need half as much Sweet and Low compared to Splenda. I also feel like I may stay healthier by drinking less mystery powder:D. Just for fun thou, try it and see if that is true for you. After all, they share the same main ingredient "Dextrose"

Dextrose is just a "filler" used in Sweet'N Low, Equal and Splenda to have approximately the same volume in the packet as sugar.

I just felt the taste of sweet n Low to just taste nasty! It seemed to me that it gave whatever I mixed it in such a bad "off" taste.

I would have agreed with you until I used half the qty I might normally use and thou it still has its own unique taste, for me I could tolerate it in a pinch.
