Expedited Passport time

We mailed our applications out on Tue Oct 20th (I believe the agent sent them overnight to Philadelphia) and we received our passports on Fri Oct 30. They were sent back priority Express with a postmark of 10/28. Not too shabby.

 

I know they are in a slower period but I was totally expecting them to take closer to 2 weeks. I don't know what kind of turnaround time can be expected for regular processing but i have heard in the past that some people have gotten theirs back in ~3 weeks (normal processing time for expedited).

 

We sailed once on birth certificates and driver's license but no more.

My son just ordered his last month and got it back in three weeks to the day with no rush shipping. Pretty good!:D

We got our kids' in 3 weeks with no expedited service. I was shocked!

Ours took 3 weeks to get, sent off in October and just got.

When we did our son's with no expediting it came back in 3 weeks to the day.

 

Last time I renewed mine, I had a last minute business trip and my passport was due to expire in less than 6 months, so I had to go down to Philly to get it done in person. Had the new one in my hands in less than 4 hours.
