I cam sure this has been asked before, but I am going on the Gem in December. I have a call/meeting that I need to do (nobody can do it in my absence since I have the history). Can I do VOIP calls and share my screen/slides (WebEx) from my stateroom or are there blocks on the WiFi?

Not sure about the ability to use the wifi in your cabin for this, but the biggest problem will be the very slow satellite internet speed which may preclude you or make it not effective to try a visual presentation over this service.

The upstream data transfer is slow with high latency. This will result in an unreliable connection and a poor experience for your viewers.

 

Consider sharing the slides and other materials with your group then just call into the conference. Another option might be for a business partner to host the WebEx screen sharing shore-side while you follow along with the materials on your computer while on the call.

No blocks but normally there is not enough bandwidth to accomplish what you need.
