ziggyS1StefZoe Posted November 5, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2015 How have you managed cruising with a toddler during port days? Do you bring them out? Do you stay on the ship? What is it like on the ship during port days, I imagine it to be empty and nothing happening...
wampuscat7 Posted November 5, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2015 The ships are pretty quiet on port days, which is great if you want to have the place to yourself. Not many activities, but you can have an empty pool, etc. (If your toddler is potty trained.) We're planning our first cruise with a toddler. I'm excited about taking her into ports because she will enjoy beach days.
cb at sea Posted November 5, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2015 The ship will be fairly empty of passengers....it's a great time to use the pool, if your child is potty trained....otherwise, they won't be able to go in any pool on the ship. There's no reason to stay onboard, if there's something ashore you want to do! Do bring a stroller...and you can walk around town (depending on port...not all ports are in a city center)...What are your ports? Have you read a guidebook on your ports yet? If not...DO! It will give you great ideas for you and your toddler!
