Spotify Premium Question

We are sailing on the Allure on 11/8/15 and I was wondering if anyone had experience using Spotify Premium to stream music without purchasing the Internet Package? I use regular Spotify but thought it would be worth upgrading to Premium because you are supposed to be able to download your playlists and play them without internet access.

 

If anyone has any knowledge or experience about this, please do share!

it would be cheaper just paying for a subscription for Spotify and downloading all your music before you board.

 

also if you subscribe to Spotify you will never cancel it. excellent product they have. the advert version doesn't come close.

I have used my Spotify Premium on vacation many times for this exact reason. Download the playlists at home before you leave and no internet needed. And you can use up to five devices, so each family member can have their own custom playlists. Well worth the $10, IMO. Have a great cruise!

Many thanks for the quick responses - I had a feeling this would be a good solution for us as we love having music in the cabin and didn't want to have to move our iTunes library to a new computer.

I'm using Spotify Premium on cruises too by downloading the playlist so I can play it offline. Very useful.

Bluetooth speaker, some nice slow music, drinks, sitting on our balcony and all that during sailaway or on a sea day during sunset :o - priceless...
