Lily815 Posted November 10, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2015 We have booked a RCCL cruise for the first time in 8 years. We have mainly been sailing NCL since 2007. Our cruise isn't until 2017 on the Harmony of the Seas, but I'm very excited! Anyway, just wanted to say hi. I'm new to cruise critic, but not new to cruising. LisaAtlCruiser Posted November 10, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 10, 2015 Welcome to CC and welcome back to RCCL! You will gain a ton of information from CC. Don't let any negative reviews scare you as we each have a different perspective and what one finds horrible another will find wonderful. You will find a mixture of reviews and you will gain valuable information. Just don't get too concerned or caught up in others opinions. You can also join your "roll call" for your specific cruise. Some roll calls are very active and some don't get much action at all. On three of my cruises I had a great roll call and connected with folks on the ship. For cruises over 6 nights RCCL will also host a Meet & Mingle as long as at least 25 people register for it. Your roll call should be able to provide you more information. And if there is not yet a roll call for your cruise - start one! One warning - reading this site will increase your cruise addiction and you will soon find that like me - you have several future cruises booked!!! :o

Lily -- We were "Loyal Royals" until 2010/2011, when we made the switch to X. The new RC ships were just getting to big for us. But, the recent announcement that RC is bringing back the Grand Old Lady (Empress) may just bring us back, as well!
